Hello, I'm selling the rest of my Nikon gear now that I've switched to NEX, but am reluctant to part with my beloved 35mm. I know there are Nikon-NEX adapters out there, but I'm not sure if this lens would work since it's gelded.

Could some clever soul tell me please if it is possible to control the aperture via camera controls on this lens adapted onto NEX-7? If not then I guess I'd have to sell since there's no aperture ring on the gelded lens! :frown:

    Thanks heaps peeps.

You can use Nikon-Nex adapter with aperture control. Tere are several brand who produce it, one of them like mine.
    Thanks and huppy hunting :).

To my knowledge there is no adapter that will allow a NEX camera to control a Nikon lens aperture. There are adapters that allow a limited amount of manual aperture adjustment.

Here's one example, there are others. Comes down to how badly you want to use the lens and what you're willing to put up with to do it.
