Nex-7 flash compatibility

Will the HVL-F43AM flash be fully functional with the Nex-7? Does Sony or 3rd party make a remote cord so
the flash could be held off-camera when shooting?

Sony reps have said it works, though I am curious about wireless flash control. There are third party flash cords that should work fine.

The question about wireless flash was the first question I asked during Sony's European press event in late August. However, at the time the company representatives could not confirm nor deny the absence of this feature.

According to the Sony official website, NEX-7 can control Sony/Minolta flashes wirelessly.
