I just looked at this site and for the nex7 users,I think it will see a firmware update coming soon , I hope it's Real

Hard to say - That's a 7-month old post, and still no new firmware. You'd think Sony would have an update out by now.

At last, it's arrived....

This utility upgrades the NEX-7 firmware to version 1.01, and provides the following benefits:

Addition of capability to enable or disable the MOVIE button
Addition of exposure settings of bracket shooting (three frames /1.0EV,2.0EV, 3.0EV)
Improvement of response for showing auto review image.
Improvement of image quality when using a wide angle lens
Improvement of indication when setting “Flexible Spot”.

Of course it arrived today.

I ordered "The Guard" yesterday to fix the problem I was having with hitting the video record button by accident all the time.

Oh, well I guess I can still use it and leave 'MOVIE Button' set to "ON".
