I just checked my pre-order of the body only at Sony Style US and it's scheduled to ship 12/14. If it ships from Illinois (like the Zeiss 24mm lens) I should have it the 15th.

Still hoping for one in December, but doesn't sound too promising at this point. Thinking the 50mm 1.8 and Tamron 18-200 would be a nice combination of lenses, although I look forward to the Sony vs. Tamron comparison

My B&H contact tells me they expect to have the first shipment soon.

Did you get it yet? I just called sony and they said preorder now and estimate ship date will be around April lol I ordered mine from Adorama a couple weeks back, hopefully don't need to wait too long =/
