For nex 5 r, how to set the focus to track subject while burst shot ? Is there such setting ?
d1rtyice I don't think the 5r is capably of that. If you set autofocus mode to AF-C and drive mode to continuous shooting you will get tracking but at only about 3-4 frames per second. In speed priority, 10 frames per second with AF-C set I believe the focus is locked after the first frame.
And the tracking you get with AF-C and S mode is not that good at all. Better pre-focus where you want to yield the best results.
Setting the focus point by tapping on the screen (if you enable touch mode) will automatically triggers focus tracking. I don't know how well this performs on burst mode though. With static objects and single shoot mode it performs quite well.
