After doing some research online, and especially asking for opinions on here which were greatly received, I have gone and bought myself a Sigma 30mm f2.8, a snip I think for £64 (approx £105)

The only other glass I have is the 18-55 kit lens and two Canon FD lenses, but am quite excited to try the Sigma, especially the AF on it.

Let us know what you think! I am debating the purchase myself ;-)

Yes, I too have that Sigma 30mm f/2.8 on my short list. Will be very interested to hear impressions.

For the price you can't pass it up. It takes some of the sharpest pictures that e mount lenses have to offer, as long as you don't shoot in ultra low light. No stabilization.
