I wouldn't worry about it. It's happened before, and like Y2K pretty much amounted to much ado about nothing.

Especially flying; I am quite sure airlines are well aware of whatever effect it could have on their gear. Imagine the lawsuits, no company would risk that.

Typical click bait misinformation. The significant information for us and most users is buried in the last sentence of the article:

GPS devices made in the past decade use 13 bits for the week counter, yielding a total of 8,192 weeks or 157 years. Those devices will not have to restart time until 2137, by which time our descendants will have created a whole new set of technological problems.

My GPS equipped devices and almost certainly all of yours are new enough not to be bothered by this issue.
