I recently picked up this vertical grip, because I wanted better handheld leverage on my A7III body especially when using my 85mm and 35mm 1.4 FE prime lenses. I've owned the previous OEM Sony VG-C2EM grip for my now-sold A7II and I found the Neewer grip to be very close in handling and build. I believe it lacks the weather sealing of the OEM grip, but it offers pretty much all the functions of the original at a fraction of the price! I don't really have much more to add and highly recommend this grip, as long as you plan to keep out of harsh weather conditions like rain and snow! Check it out!

Here's where I got mine:

I have a Meike grip for my A6400. I believe Meike and Newer are the same products. I do like the Meike grip, especially for portraits with longer lenses but, I don't really like the external cord needed to allow the vertical shutter button to work...

I've used the Meike on the A9 and found it good for the money.
The button feel is about the same as the body's.
With a big lens on though it was too easy to knock them and it had to go.
