Bought a Minolta camera with MC 50mm 1.7. It also had a Soligor 35mm 2.8 but it seems to have an adapter of some sort missing. I researched it a bit and I think it is a T4,3,2… It sounds like Vivitar has something similar. Any info would be great.

Looks like it is either a T4 or TX. Not for sure tho, sorry. I use Tamron adaptall lenses quite a bit but never delved into the short lived Soligor version. Wish I could help more.

One resource to use for researching old gear is to check ebay listings. Do a search on what you are interested in the look at all the photos provided from all the sellers. Read the descriptions as well and you can usually start to piece together some type of info base or timeline, depending on what your looking on. For instance, I looked up some info on Petri lenses recently and not much is available online. So I cruised all the Petri breechmount listing on ebay and was able to come up with some info on a rough timeline and different styled version of the lenses.

May or may not help. :)

Thanks f/otographer and Michel. After looking at the link you posted it sure looks like a t4. So I guess I look for a t4 to Minolta or Pentax k mount which is the two adapters I have.
