My son finds a flashlight

    I took this photo of my 2-year-old son hiding under our dining room table with a flashlight he found in our kitchen. Taken with the NEX-3 and converted to black and white.

    I like this shot. I'm a big fan of high contrast B&W shots especially low light. :)

    Well, here is the same crop without any edits:

    The only thing I did to the original for the black and white was crop the image, bump the contrast some, desaturated the color and then "blacked out" some of the distracting background.

    The color is fine (it was shot at ISO 1600) but I just liked this image more as a black and white.
