    Please be aware of the following:

    1) These will NOT work if you use an adapted lens without a chip that communicates with the camera. It will always flash at a pre-set setting (probably the last power used before mounting the un-chipped lens)

    2) you can not use a flashmeter on the units/channels that you set in manual mode since with these, there is always a pre- flash. If the flash is physically placed in manual, then it will not pre-flash but you lose the remote adjustment capability

    Thanks for pointing that out. This is the reason why I prefer the Phigment Tech LM-Nex adapter for Leica M-mount lenses, which sadly has been discontinued. That is despite having both the Hawkfactory and Metabones adapters, which do not have electrical contact with the camera.
