Queue for the fish man at the Tuesday market.

Ledbury market charter was issued by King Stephen to Bishop Robert de Bethune in 1138, and in 1584 Queen Elizabeth granted a new charter, allowing a weekly market on Tuesday as you can see this still runs today

I'll admit it. I'd have a hard time living in a place where the walls of the buildings look that uh, how shall I say this, out of plumb.
Glad to see the social distancing being used in the queue for the fish man.

Charming old school European city.

Here in North America a building from the 1800's is considered ancient. There you have buildings nearing and surprising centuries.

The council office and old school house are early Tudor about 1500 (I can’t confirm this as I haven’t lived in Ledbury that long)

The building on stilts beside the fish queue is the Market house build started in 1617

The church dates from about 1180. This was a rebuild .

The most significant thing for me is that they are all still in use.
