Just a couple of shots of my Paul Reed Smith guitar. Shot with a Sony NEX-3N and the 16-50mm kit lens. I used Lightroom 5 to tweak it and go B/W.
    Guitar Strings. PRS Headstock.

Both very nice with #2 being my favourite - so sharp and great detail ;)

Thanks! Yeah, I love how that came out. I made it my laptop wallpaper :)

Nice photos. Does that have the Dragon Pups in it?

Beautiful shots. That second shot has a wonderful feel to it.

I'm so sorry, ecaggiani. It might have saved you a lot of bother if someone had only warned you that you can't possibly get shots as good as these with the 16-50mm lens. :p

No, this guitar does not have dragon pickups. It contains two PRS designed SE standard humbucking pickups with Zebra coils. Since this is the "cheaper" PRS line, the pickups are not coil tapped like the higher end models, so no splitting the humbuckers into single coils here. Still sounds and feels great, though :)

Love the dof in that first one. And the second is very sharp and yet smooth at the same time. If that makes sense.
