Mt. Shasta Sunset/Moonrise

    Finally getting the chance to put the PhotoPills natural light app to what I hoped was good use, I drove down to Shasta last night to capture the sunset and full moon rise at one of my favorite shooting spots. Unfortunately, the weather and smoke from the many nearby forest fires made it less than optimal. But still...

    Both shot with the NEX-6 and SELP1650.

    I also shot this little 1:27 time-lapse. Sorry, it's from my iPhone. Though the quality would no doubt have been better from the NEX-6, I just can't stand the idea of that many shutter activations.

    Love the color in that first one. Cool video. It's neat to watch the colors change as the sun sets.
