The weather forecast for last Wednesday was a sunny day with some fog patches in the morning and I decided to get up early and be at the river in my town by sunrise. I made a lot of shots and found it difficult to select and process them because they were so different to what I'm used to come home with.

Good job, I always have trouble making my fog pics look like the actual scene. :)

Excellent work Ad. Love the composition on these and capturing the atmosphere as vividly as you have is not that easy.

I especially like the last shot because the subject (the row of grass and the tree) isn't obscured by fog, so stands out from the softness in the background and foreground. Very nice. Crop a little off the left and bottom and I'd consider it perfect. :)

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried it but I'm not sure I like it better. Will play some more with the cropping, with this kind of pictures I have to revisit several times.

I wondered if it was impolite to suggest that. It was just a whim. It's a nice shot -- drawing the viewer in.

Not at all, I took it as a friendly suggestion and I'll be going back to the picture today as a starting point for further improvements (hopefully :)).
