I'm testing out a few Canon lenses with the Metabones IV and the new A7 II firmware, and things are going well. I'm trying out the EF 70-200/4L on the Sony, and it's working quite brilliantly. In good light, focus is very fast with the new firmware and very accurate as well. I'm testing the non-IS version since there's IBIS in my camera, and it's working great. I think I'm going to pick up this combo to use as my telephoto zoom, for around half the price of the FE 70-200/4. A quick shot from this morning at 159mm, f/4:

Hey Jordan! That is a lovely autumnal image. Do you have any more comments on how the lens is performing together with the PDAF of the A7ii and the metabones adapter? I am curious about this lens as an alternative to the FE70-200.

I can chime in a little and confirm that my Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 works flawless with the update and Metabones IV. Hunts a little in low light but not terribly. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1454476496.669592.jpg
