I'm going to catch hell (deservedly so I suppose) for this, but here's some B&W stuff I've been dabbling with lately. There's more on my blog.

The last one appeals to me especially, I suppose because of the rich black structures.

I've been wondering wether this one is good or not. I really don't know what to think about it

No, definitely, the ones from Bimjo are better.

It seems a bit dark overall, perhaps lighten the flower a bit? Try using an adjustment layer in a medium grey, set to Soft Light. Paint black to darken, white to lighten. Not sure if that works in LR or not (never used it), but doing it as a layer leaves the original image untouched.

Hahahahahaha!! Look at me trying to tell somebody how to do B&W. Too rich!

Thanks for the advise. I actually kept it dark to have a mysterious or dramatic ambiance. Maybe you're right.
I don't know much about layers and stuff like that, I don't have lightroom. It might be my next purchase :)

I liked these on the cell phone, but I love them now that I am viewing it on the monitor. Bimjo. Do you have a Leica monochrome in on order?

Leica Monochrome on order? Yeah, along with my Ferrari and my Gulfstream.

Seriously, thanks for the sentiment though. :)

I was thinking how much I like the "dark light" and that it was just right even before I read the above.

    Beautifully somber.

Oh thank you! It's funny how it can be subjective after all.
