The backlighting on the 3rd photo is stunningly caught! And I like the composition of the trees in the 4th photo.
Thanks for sharing,
thanks for sharing mate, this lens is very good, crisp and bukeh is very good, I draw much attention the photo 3 has great detail and as mentioned the'' friend'' Bolampau, good catch, looks in detail contour and the spider's web can be distinguished.
the last picture is very good too, the bukeh is very nice.
Great images eno789! The last three are stunning... my favourite would have to be the last one. Nice texture, shapes, and colours - lovely bokeh... great macro!
Thanks for sharing
Funny I find the bokeh kind of harsh in the last one but softer and more pleasant in the third. All nice picture though. Seems to be a good lens for you.
I agree with storyteller. This lens is not known for its bokeh. But it's pretty sharp, e.g. the last one, which is wide open I believe.
I have a similar focal distance lens that I just love.
These are with the Nex 5 + Minolta MD 35-70 f3.5 but with a Raynox 150 clipped on the front.
This is what the lens looks like:
I buy this lens after reading on this topic for my sony nex.
I have a little question, when the aperture is on 3.5 the diaphragme is full open in macro mode but in 35mm mode i see that the aperture is not open fully, maybe by modifyng the lens it could be wider like 2.8.
Anyone have an idea ?
See Minolta MD 35-70mm f3.5 (Macro) Mod to f2.8-3.5 | Flickr - Photo Sharing!
Although I've not tried the mod.
Interesting. Makes one wonder who else has done that with which lenses.
Interesting!!! You learn something new everyday
thx very much
can't wait to receive the adaptor to nex
I have some fungus on this lens, i didn't see them before ( it appear only when the focal is on 35mm +- damn ).
i'm afraid that i contaminate my other lens or my camera body.
Should i try to clean this lens ( i didn't find how to open it) or do something else with it ?

If you pixel peep the full size version of the above, you can spot the two turkeys on top of the hill. Of course I did not see them when I took the picture.
A few more in the flickr set.
Love the close up of the poppies on the boulder.
That looks like great combo, Brian. And what a fine time of the year to be living in the Bay Area (I was down last week for MacWorld Expo )
I have had my example of this lens since October last year. I have found it disappointing. Does any one know if there was considerable variation in quality at time of manufacture? My example is in very good condition, no haze or fungus but it is always just a little soft.
That looks like a bit of bad luck or maybe the lens has had a knock that has caused decentering. I've had 4 samples in total and they all were sharp and contrasty, though every one of them was slightly unsharp at either left or right side when pixel-peeping shots from the NEX-6. The earlier Rokkor version (without macro setting) has somewhat lower contrast but is sharp nevertheless, my one sample at least.
Mine is fine. Just a lot of distortion at 35 but as far as I understood, this is expected.
