Messing with light

    I got a new lens and in looking for something to shoot, I messed with decor in the kids room, lit by a floor lamp.

    Tokina 35-70mm and NEX-6

    I chopped off the top part of the bow, have to reshoot this one.

    No need to re-shoot...concentrates the viewer on the center of the subject.
    Maybe try cropping out the lightbox...not sure if it will change it for the better.

    Reminds me of the old saying "Necessity is the Mother of Invention"....looks like the concept applies here too......good thinking!

    I thought about cropping the light, but thought it looked better seeing the source.



    You know that, "I just got a new lens, I've got to try this out on something" feeling.
