    Hey,
Found this one for 45€. Looks nice and it is a pretty small lens.
Has anybody tried it ? Is it worth ?
Could get an second-hand adapter for 7€ in mint condition too.

    Thanks

I love mine, use it a lot. I think I paid about $25.00 for it.

I think € 45 is too high a price, personally I'd pay only € 15 for a good sample. This lens is built very cheaply and I've found that it can easily develop mechanical problems like rough focussing or play. Optically it's not bad, but I'd prefer an MD 50mm 1:2 or a MD 50mm 1:1.7, which are both in the same price range, optically equivalent and mechanically better.

I see...can also get it for 35€. Actually I have a FD 50 1.4 which I like but this MD is damn lighter and smaller !

Well, if you like it, why not. I guess you noticed that I don't like it because of its inferior build which hampers the handling too much for my taste. It's relatively light and small indeed and if you like that and don't mind the price, I'd say go for it. I don't know in which country you're living, but here in The Netherlands I'd feel that € 35 is still too high. I've had two samples, paid about € 15 for each of them and sold one of them for € 15; I never use the other one because I have better 50mm lenses in my collection.

Thanks for all your replies. I just came across this lens looking through a photo shop bay. As I can't try it out without an adapter I think I'll pass.

Only having the 45mm I can not compare it to the 50mm, but I love my 45mm.
