When we first got there in the morning, we could not even see the waterfall clearly. Heavy fog blanketed the whole area. After an hour or so, it started clearing up.
At that time, the only lens I have for my A7r is FE 35/2.8, no other lenses or zoom, so I zoomed by feet. Will need to go back sometimes in the afternoon for better light. The whole Big Sur area is pretty awesome.

McWay Falls is in Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park in the Big Sur area.
The beach is inaccessible to visitors; view only no touch nor drink (that's a fresh waterfall.)

Love the pattens in the water that you captured in the 2nd photo.

The fog lends just the right amount of mystery to these shots. Well done! :)
