    Great shot, but I'm pretty sure I would have burned the entire house down by now instead of grabbing my camera. This is one of the main reasons I moved back to WI from Texas. Give me spiders and roaches (water bugs) down there any day. Scorpions?...I'm outta here...

    Nice! You got that big boy to wait for you to whip out the Minolta macro? ;)

    I had one the size of my palm in the house. The cats dispensed it before morning coffee. But what gave me a real scare was discovering a rattlesnake while doing yard work. :p

    It's tail was stuck in a trap, and could not move.

    I've had a couple of rattlesnake scares, but nothing too close.
