I am still amazed by my NEX 7 after almost two years of use. I love macro photography and this little camera is perfectly suited to the task. Here is a smattering of some of the macro shots I have done with the camera in that time using a variety of old manual focus macro lenses and regular lenses with old close up filters.

    ladybug on hewn blue

    the dark queen

    a harvest freely given

    deux lignes noires

    stalking in the mist

    gloria insecta

    flower silhouetted in headlights

serendipity rook (tiny spider on top)

    dangerous orbit

    it dwells in the blinds

Cool stuff, especially 'Gloria insecta' - reminds me of the old 'super insect monster movie' era - Moth-ra and all that stuff :)

Thank you everyone who replied! And so very sorry for the late response. Real life just has a way of intruding on so much. Quite rude when you think about it actually. :)

markoneswift- Its funny you should say that, but that shot has always reminded me of that as well. Im sure the little guy would be proud to be compared to Mothra. :)

ChanqshaNotes- Thanks as well. "Stalking in the mist" is one of my absolute favorite shots ever. I used an old 1959 aluminum bodied Zeiss Biotar (M42) and that shot is straight out of the camera. Even though it exhibits what I believe to be nisen bokeh its still one I am proud to have taken.

    Thanks again everyone.
