Since I am having M43 system too, I bought this adapter to mount my M43 manual lenses on A7II.

Just for fun, nothing serious, OK ;)

Not bad, would be cool to just play around with. Especially with that lens body cap. I also don't mind the major vignetting in the fisheye lens.

What adapter are you using? I have a m4/3 tilt shift that works great but my adapter is too tight on the A7S so I can only use it on the A7. I assume the A7II has the same robust mount.

Yes. I had nex adapters/lenses that were loose in A7R. They are now back to tight fit w/ A7 II.
Not bad for m43 lenses... I have the cap lenses too, hmm....

I've done some free lensing like this with the 25mm f/1.4 and the Voigtlander 17.5mm f/.95. The former can be cropped square for a full image circle. The latter is a little crazy--the field curvature is intense.

My problem is it fits TOO tight. Can't get it on or off. Where did you get yours?

I don't have m43 adapter. I was talking about the other adapters eg contax g af adapter which was too loose with 2 A7R's and it was shortcircuiting it... The upgraded ver 3 adapter solved the problem. I saw some canon ef adapters has fitting problems with A7 II. Adapters has more deviation compared to lenses.

gotcha, sorry. My misunderstanding. I was hoping maybe the OP would chime in since he has an A7 II as well. I luckily never had any real issues with my other adapters. I have ver. 2 Contax G adapter which worked fine enough. Well, not fine enough because I sold it, but I never had shorting problems!

My M43 to NEX adapter was quite loose.

Would be nice to see samples with 50+ mm lenses.

I've tried 2 M43 adapters. The first one I couldn't get it to mount on my NEX. It was simply not machined properly. There was no way it would twist to lock. The replacement they sent me mounted just fine on the camera but all my M43 lens were very loose. I literally had to hold the lenses to keep them on.

OK, so I think I am missing something. Where do I find the Mu43 lens > E-Mount camera adapter (and what is it called)?
