Lots os Locks

    These locks are on the guard rail of a walking bridge crossing the Rideau river in Ottawa. The Ottawa U is near by so I'm guessing they are from grad students? I'm sure some of these locks have some stories to tell. Taken with my old pentax 50mm smc f2.0.

    Got it. Had to check off BBC instead of HTML. First time I have to do that.

    Nice shots claude. Not sure if it's the case here, but people all over are placing "love locks" on bridges and fences. Better than carving on trees or paint graffitti I think. :)

    There's a thing here that when two people share a secret they 'lock it' and throw away they key. Bridges are great for this as you toss the key into the river.

    Of course combination locks may not be the best choice for this. (or love locks either) ;)
