Lorikeet trifecta

On the same vacant urban block in my suburb I found 3 species of Lorikeet one morning this week.

The Scaly-breasted I've never seen before and the urban population is thought to have grown from escaped aviary birds. The 'natives' are hundreds of miles to the north.

That's quite a silver lining to the lock-down.


Musk - it eats the pollen and nectar of the Eucalypt flowers
