I live in Lincolnshire and have been visiting local churches. Here's the first, St. Andrew's in Irnham.
    Photos taken using A7R with Canon 17mm T-SE F4 and FE 16-35mm F4 lenses.

    Very cool, thanks for sharing.

(Google says there has been a church on that site for ~1000yrs, this building is ~800yrs old!)

Yes, it's a wonderful place and they have just spent £350,000 ($452,000) on a restoration programme to preserve the church building for future generations.

Paul : I visited the British Isles about 2 years ago and also have a few images of your country's Old Churches/Chapels. Seeing you started this post, would you feel fussed if I post a few of theses images?

Why not just start a separate thread?

Thank you for getting back to me Paul. That is what I had in mind, but did not want you to perhaps think I was "stealing your thunder" so to speak.

Very nice Paul Bolampau. Lincs reminds me of my stay over Christmas at a friend's house in Wickenby, near Lissington (30 years ago!). Cold wintry winds from the North Sea but warm hospitality :).

    Feeling old and nostalgic....
