Lightroom test of NEX-5N, Fuji X-E1, and Olympus E-PM2 at ISO 6400

    I did a quick ISO 6400 test of these three cameras, and it's pretty clear to me that Sony is still the best when it comes to high ISO for those of us using Lightroom, not least of all because Lightroom can't properly handle the color rendering of the Fuji RAW files (look at the reds). 100% crop:

    6400 Test.

    All cameras were set to f/5.6, 1/60s, ISO 6400 with a 28mm equivalent lens.

    Huh, I thought they just updated ACR to fix that Fuji RAW thing. Maybe I'm thinking of another camera though…

    They did indeed, but while the update was a big improvement, there is clearly still work to do!

    Thats an interesting and revealing test Amin. The Fuji should be streets ahead, but as you rightly say, Adobe still have a lot of work to do. It has been a big disappointment, and is the main reason for me turning to the NEX as my main mirrorless camera.

    Thanks for taking the trouble to do that, its an eye opener!
