Just came from a visit to Ebay, looking at NEX. In the listings for action only, for the first 2 or 3 days, I am shocked at the number, with LCDs, scratched, cracked or coating scuffed off. Are they that fragile, or are the owners, just not careful?

I suspect that the NEX LCD is no more or less fragile than any other of its size. Honestly, many camera owners treat them as disposable items, not giving them the proper care that an enthusiast would.

Strangely, some of these same people will have a cow if you try to take a soda with you in their car. Go figure.
