Trying to figure out different ways to use this 17mm UWA lens. Drove past a simple, clean Oat field yesterday that didn't have any obvious man-made structures in view...went back today to try a few shots...intensely bright day, not a cloud in the sky.

Had a few clouds today so I tried the 17mm again with a CPL filter.

For what it's worth, I prefer the ones with the clouds.

I have really come to like it...always looking for opportunities to try it so when I saw this clean Oat field surrounded by trees, I figured it might be a good change of pace to try a few composition tests with it.
Also, I'd read articles suggesting that Polarizer filters were not recommended for UWA lenses due to uneven effects if the sun was coming in from the sides...but knowing the sun would be at my back for these photos, there was none of that, and it did fine.
