Laggan Dam is a dam located on the River Spean south west of Loch Laggan in the Scottish Highlands. The structure was built by Balfour Beatty for the British Aluminium Company and construction was finished in 1934.

Beautiful! Do any of the distilleries use this water to make their wonderful liquid gold drink?

I think the closest distillery would be Dalwhinnie though I doubt they would use Loch Laggan's water.

Here is a map of Scottish distilleries.
As you can see we have quite a few to get through just a short drive away in Speyside
    Cheers :drinks:

Ive enjoyed several bottles of Dalwhinnie! The distillers in the Speyside region make some fine spirits. I lean toward the Islay and Highland varieties. I must confess that ALL are special!

Some Whisky quotes you may find amusing ;)

“Too much of anything is bad, but too much of good whisky is barely enough.”

“Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake.”

“Whisky is for drinking; water is for fighting over.”

“For a bad hangover take the juice of two quarts of whisky.”

“There are two things a Highlander likes naked, and one of them is malt whisky.”
    (Scottish proverb.)
