My first MF lens and I love it.
Beautiful pics... thanks for sharing.
Hexanons are very impressive. Is this the pancake lens you're using?
Thanks Dioptrick =)
Yes, this is the pancake lens. I have another Hexanon 50/1.7, will post a photo of it in separate thread.
I like the characteristic of Hexanon and I actually started to hunt them down, next to get is 135/f3.2.
Sweet shots, the 40 is probably the next one I'll be getting
Hi and welcome Vibranze
Very nice shots, you've got yourself quite a good lens and the results speaks for itself.
I notice that all the shots have a dark vignetting around the edges. Is the lens doing this, or did you deliberately add this (lens filter, hood, or digital editing)?
No, I purposely put it as it helps to bring the subject. I know not all people is a fans of vignetting so pardon me if you don't like it =)
Thanks Phoenix for the comment.
Hi Halka, you should get one and maybe other range from Hexanon as well.
Here is the Hexanon 40 f1.8 lens look like, photo taken with 50 f1.7.
I like it
I notice things like this immediately because I used to add this effect via a lens filter. I was just curious whether yours happened by accident or was done in purpose. Nicely done!
welcome mate, I had seen your great photos on dpr, then enjoy this group and have a very good lens.
Don't have the NEX yet, but have used the hexanons on Olympus 4/3, as well as the m4/3, and panasonic. They always do really well, if I do my part. I still have a 52mm, that I use on my E-p2.
Here are a couple with the 40/1.8 and the NEX C3

For whatever reason the Hexanons and the NEX are a really good match for one another.
Thanks mate, nice to see you here too =)
Yeah, I second to that
Finally got my hands on a pristine copy from KEH. Compact, light, and stunning image quality. Shot on my NEX-F3.

^^Great results indeed
I love my 40/1.8 so far.
