Showcase Kamlan 1.1/50 Manual Focus APS-C E-mount

This is a Chinese lens that has just started making itself known. You can find it on Ebay and Amazon at prices around $150.00.
This is a well made, aluminum and glass lens. It feels good to operate and is well balanced on my A6500. The black paint matches the A6500 body beautifully.
I received it in the mail yesterday afternoon. Just took it out for a spin and thought I would share some samples. It is acceptably sharp in the center wide open and gets better stopped down. As far as the sides and corners go, well, just think of this as a portrait lens. I don't do brick walls and I don't need a 50mm sharper than my MD Rokkor 2.0/50. I got this lens for low light and shallow depth of field performance.

All images, except the last, are at f/1.1 where the last is at f/5.6.

This is interesting. Would you mind posting more images with it, particularly at the lower apertures? Pair this 50 with the 50/1.8 and you have 1 lens faster than the 50/1.4, and one probably near as sharp with the 50/1.8, and you've only spent $300 vs $1500. I'm using a Canon FD 50/1.4 now but I'm waiting for the 50/1.8 to go on sale to get that. This Kamlan look so fun!
