I just picked up a couple of Sony a7R II bodies along with a Sony 70-200 F4 zoom and two Zeiss Batis lenses with one more coming at the end of the month, the 25mm f2, the 85 mm F1.8 and the 18mm F2.8 to go along with my RX1R II. Very excited to start shoot a lot of things with this setup

Great setup, but why not not get the Sony Zeiss 55mm 1.8 to fill the gap between 25 and 85 then you are all set. :2thumbs::D

I thought about but for the moment I plan on using my Sony RX1R II for that sort of thing, will see down the line how it goes

nothing to do with being cheap, just do not need the size, clunking focus, larger fstop or excessive noise of the G Master 70-200 F2.8 or 85 F1.4.
This is also not the only camera system I use or own.
For work I have a Hasselblad H5 system with a 100mp Phase one back as well as a pretty thorough Nikon setup

Lovely images. If i wanted to simplify and go with a fixed lens camera, this would be on top of the list.

OK, I'll be contrarian. Of all of them, it's #2 for me.
