I was working in another city for the last 2 days, so I took the opportunity to take some photos after work was done. This was not planned from before so obviously I wouldn't have taken these if I didn't carry my camera/gear with me 24/7 :D

Love the "ghost" image, Nick. My imagination doesn't range that far.

Doesn't the woman standing next to the castle looks like a "ghost" due to the long exposure effect?
That was the first thing that came into my mind when I loaded the photo to the pc :D

Yes, of course. What I meant was that my imagination wouldn't have allowed me to "see" that before taking the shot.

    Thanks!
30sec for the castle shot and about 80sec for the pier one :)

I like the ghost in the castle shot as well. Definitely adds the the old worldly feel of the shot.

The Flickr version is much sharper and nicer than the embedded forum images, for some reason.

Great shots. What lens was used here?

I dont know why they appear sharper in flickr...

Both were shot with the Minolta MD 24-35.

Thanks folks for all the nice comments ;)

    Thanks buddy!

Yeah, I can say that the purchase of the A7 has got me motivated to get out and shoot again. I guess new gear does that :D
