Industar 61

Is there anyone who has overhauled Industar 61? My focus ring is not completely smooth. Thinking it's just oil or grease missing.

ISO 500, f/8, 1/160, time is 07:14 AM, today.

More likely the grease in the focus helicoil has solidified. It's a fairly common malady in older RF lenses. I read somewhere (no idea where) that sometimes just racking the focus from end-to-end repeatedly will loosen it up. If not a CLA may be in order.

I'm curious... what type of grease did you use for the focusing barrel?

I use Tri-Flow Clear Synthetic Grease. NSF Registration Number 127524 H1 Rated.
