Hi, I have 16-50mm and 55-210mm lens and I'm browsing some inexpensive lens that are good talking wide angle images. The SEL16F28 lens seems affordable but I doubt if this have difference in my current SELP1650 because it can also capture pictures at 16mm. I want to buy the 16mm f/2.8 because i plan to avail the wide angle and fish eye converter in the future. I just need to know if it is reasonable to buy even if I have the 16-50mm lens :) Thanks in advance!

Can someone post comparison shots in same subject using SEL16F28 at 16mm and SELP1650 at 16mm too?

It really depends on if you plan on using the add-ons.

If not you already have that covered.

Yeah, the 16mm 2.8 is better than the 16-50PZ at 16mm, but it's not worth to buy it on that fact alone. If you will use the converters and want an ultra wide angle lens, go for it - it's hard to argue about such a cheap AF 12mm f/2.8 or 10mm f/2.8 lens.
