I hope it's as good as I've read. I use a 16-35 on my D800 and it's one of my real favorites. Right now, I have only been using the 55/1.8 on the A7II. It is a super lens, but I need something wider.

When it arrives, I'll post a review and some photos.

I am on the sidelines also esp with CV 15mm release. Since I have A7R, 16-35 IS make more sense. I will be waiting for your review.

Congratulations. It's a fantastic lens. Lovely color.

I've been using one a bit over the past few days. Only limitations is my ability to really effectively use an ultra wide angle lens. The lens itself is very enjoyable. Highly recommended.

If I go more than a little wide (35mm), I go really wide. I'm holding out for the new Voigtlander 15mm.

I really like the lens. Not as good as the FE55 for sure, but so darn useful and actually makes a superb pairing with the FE55. My ideal two-lens kit. I shot my first wedding with just these two and it worked really well (any actual problems were due to my own inexperience).

Well, it was supposed to be delivered 2 hours ago.

    I'm still waiting.

I took a laxative last night, so it's not like I have anything else to do.

    Oh dear, TMI!

But I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with it.

Finally arrived 7 hours late.... everything else worked out fine.

These are the first shots without post processing. Nothing fancy; just wanted to make sure it worked. All were shot at f4 ISO 400 at 16mm.

I'll get out with the combo this weekend. So far, I like what I see.
