    Nice.

I like the first one! I'd probably do another, this time with the apple in focus and the boy blurred in the background :)

I like the first one too, but I may have stopped down a bit more to get little more apple. Almost not able to know it's an apple as it is.

I think the second is the better picture. It captures the atmosphere of the hunger games and is a better photo altogether IMHO. I have few points on the first. There seem to be some sort of blur over the whole of the lower part of the image, don´t know what that is. As someone pointed out, you can hardly see that is is an apple. What I find a bit distracting is the odd branches popping up, super sharp just behind it. I think the image could have been even more dramatic if he was aiming the point of the arrow directly at you (of course be safe :)). The apple could be higher up (or him aiming lower) and the composition rotated slightly so we as a spectator was in his line of fire even more. Just my 2 c.

the blur that is on the lower part of an image is - i tried to create a fog.. so the main subjects were more in focus and there would be less distracting elements in an image..
the super sharp branches are really distracting, i guess i should try to remove them.. although i think it's a hard work..
thanks for your 2 dollars of input :)
here I attach other versions of the same image, if you or other guys could tell me your opinion if without that fog is better, or the different tone of an image looks better appreciate it very much.

I don´t really care for the fog, maybe a tighter crop would do the job?

This bring back some memories, used to make bow and arrows like that when I was a kid. Great shots.
