How effective is OSS on lenses and A7r?

I've read many comments about sorely missed shots using the A7r, I guess due to the very sensitive sensor and strong shutter. I guess it takes some practice. Have always thought crop-ability of the A7r shots would be fun to try for macro but I don't own one. So now I'm just wondering if the OSS on the new 90mm macro might help enough to make the A7r more useable for hand-held macro on moving insects, breezy flowers, that sort of thing. I'm thinking about getting an A7ii for many reasons, but can't forget about that A7r. Thanks.

It depends on what you are shooting.

At high ISO's or longer focal lengths you are going to see it show up. Also when shooting video it can decrease some of the shake.

Beautiful. Looks like skill had something to do with these shots, too :)
