Please let me introduce myself. My name is Edwin, 28 yrs old and a student Communication & Multimedia Design from Holland. I shoot NEX since the 5N came out and hooked on it eversince. I've tried different lenses like Sigma's 30, Vivitar 28 f/2 legacy, SLR Magic 35 f/1.7 and both kitlenses. Already sold those because they were not my cup of tea! Right now I own the NEX-6 with the SEL 18-200 version 1 (better than v2 imo) and the Minolta XD7 (SLR) + MD Rokkor-X 50 f/1.4 with a Novoflex adaptor so i can use it on the NEX (great combo!).

    CHASE SEL 18-200, f/6.3 1/3 ISO800 94mm
    chase.

    ON TOP SEL 18-200, f/5.6 1/125 ISO320 68mm
    on top.

    BREAK OUT Rokkor 50, f/4 1/60 ISO1000
    break out.

I'm looking forward spending time on this forum because NEX is great!

Please let me know what you think of the pics!

Hello Edwin. If you hadn't said you were from Holland I think I could have guessed from that second shot which has the mood of those great Dutch landscape paintings, right down to the humorous element that you catch with a closer look. Lovely shot, though I think I would have kept just a little more colour in it.

What's NEXt ? Huh, you give me photgraphy classes ?!?
Honestly I'm *blown* by how good your stuff is. I thought to get that first shot you'd have to be a Hollywood director with a crew of 20 people. It reminds me so much of the opening on David Lynch's Mulloland Drive. Fabulous pic. I like the two others as well, and it says a lot coming from someone who positively HATES selective color. Well done, you're da man !

You are right about more colour in the 2nd pic. Once I'm done PP-ing an image I don't like to do it again because you can learn from doing it 'wrong' and try avoiding it the next time.
