Would you not recommend using snapseed for FF images?Snapseed also has a method of adding noise to reduce posterisation. I assume this is because it's design concept was phones and lower bit depth images.
The other problem with your image is the thresholds were quite low in the sky due to foreground exposure
So I'm going with "noise" as my answer to your question.
