Extremely small, nervous, constantly twitching, flitting around, jerking around little bird...finally got this one in sharp focus at 40 feet.
And they're not the most attractive bird in the universe either...others that I've managed to capture in focus have had various problems like their head being turned away, or an eye closed, or no side profile, etc....but this shot today seems to bring a good blend together...the pose, the eye, the colors, the legs/feet, the seed in the beak, etc. May not seem like a big deal to anyone else but this is an accomplishment!
