Had occasion to use the Macro feature on the Canon FDn 35-105 / 3.5...seems to do pretty well

Goldenrod up close & personal...fortunately I get no allergic reaction from it.
(My wife would be sneezing and carrying on for a couple hours if she sat down next to this)
