Sometimes the magic does work. After a day of t-storms, I just had a feeling we were in for a great sunset. It was breezy, temperature was mild, low humidity, insects were in hiding, and there was a glow to the sky that said "Grab the camera!!". I went to a picturesque local park about an hour before sunset, and I'm glad I went. The first few were taken with the Promaster 19-35mm, then at the pond I switched to the Vivitar 50/1.8. Enjoy.

Thanks everyone. The second pond shot is my wife's favorite. I was hoping for a bit more red in the sky, but the conditions were still excellent. I've been out a handful of evenings of late where the sky was just so-so.
