    Yes, I'm very satisfied with it. I confess that I did a little pixel peeping after I got home. This 100% crop (shot at 300mm) shows the level of detail the combo offers. The distance to the bridge from my vantage point was 10.2 miles (16.4 km), and when you account for the atmospheric distortion, I think it's pretty amazing. You can even see a sailboat approaching from the Pacific just to the right of the sun.

    Particulary No.1 is amazing but why is the water on the lower left and right a little blue-ish?

    Thanks, Nick. I believe the bluish specks are reflections of the sky on the wave tops. You can see them in the second shot as well.

    There are black 'dots' on the second picture. Are they buoys or people?

    If you're asking about the black dots in foreground, those are seagulls floating on the water.
