So my buddy commented that he bought this lens(£29.99) and was having great fun with it, so I thought why not.

Light conditions & being in a bit of a rush to try my 2nd lens shows a little..! :)

Ha Ray told you so again??? :)

You'll find in certain conditions, lens flare can be problematic however if handled correctly can add to the photo. Works well in B&W and in toy camera mode.

So I think I'm safe in assuming this would also be the right place for the "RainbowImaging" version of this lens. If you search Amazon for the Fujian the RB version shows up. In either case here's a few I got this past weekend with the lens. Really my first time using it. I like the light fall-off and the vignetting.

SONY NEX-C3, ISO 200, 1/3200, not sure of the actual f-stop
    NEX-C3    ---       f/1.0    1/3200s    ISO 200

SONY NEX-C2, ISO 200, 1/1250, not sure of the f-stop
    NEX-C3    ---       f/1.0    1/1250s    ISO 200

SONY NEX-C3, ISO 200, 1/500, not sure of the f-stop
    NEX-C3    ---       f/1.0    1/500s    ISO 200

All in all a pretty fun lens to use. As suggested by one poster above I'll have to take it back out sometime and use the Toy Camera mode and see what I come up with.

It really is silly how good this lens actually is haha. I've been using it for a long time from my m43 body and now to my sony. Great central sharpness, and some insane field curvature make for some artsy fartsy looking photos.

    All wide open:

    Lovely results

Typically not the best lens for "normal work, " but used properly they can result in very pleasant shots.
