The Fotograficabeurs (beurs: fair) took place here in Holland today. It seems to be one of the biggest in Europe, it's held twice a year and it has a firm reservation in my agenda. Besides browsing through all things on offer and sometimes drooling over it, I also took some pictures as promised to suntoryjim IIRC. It was great fun to do so because no one seemed to take offence when I pointed my camera at them. Can be quite different in the street!

I was really hoping to find a shift lens, either a C/Y PC-Distagon 35/2.8, an Olympus Shift 35/2.8 or a Canon TS 35/2.8 FD. No PC-Distagon anywhere, but 2 Olympus and 1 Canon lenses were for sale. I ended up with an Olympus OM Zuiko Shift 35/2.8 together with an Olympus OM Zuiko 40/2. Both weren't cheap, but some first tests showed promising results, more on that later in another thread . Anyway, here are the pictures.

This is the stand where I found and bought the Olympus OM Zuiko Shift 35/2.8. The seller had used it on a Hasselblad XPan, I let him keep the adapter. He consented to have me mount the lens on my camera as soon as he saw I used a Novoflex adapter. He didn't want that crappy Chinese stuff doing damage to this lens, which admittedly looks very nice.

And this guy sold me the Olympus OM Zuiko 40/2

There is a lot of nice hardware in those photos. As Kevin said: drool.
