What type of listing is this? For Sale What are you trying to sell/buy/trade? Pentax-M* 300mm f/4 lens What are your prices? $200 Where are you located? USA Where are you willing to to ship? Description I have a Pentax M*300 f/4 telephoto lens that was purchased used about a year ago. The lens can be described as exterior barrel is in EX condition, and there is a low/moderate amounts of internal dust which is probably appropriate for a lens of this age. The lens has a built-in sliding hood, smooth aperture with distinct clicks, and firm focusing action. No oil or fungus is present. This lens has been "Canonized," meaning the aperture lever and guard have been removed in order to function on a Canon SLR/DSLR (see photo). I cannot confirm the lens works on a Canon camera. What this means for Pentax users is the lens will work like an M42 lens... the aperture will not be held open for focussing and the viewfinder will get darker as you stop down. There is no damage to the rear element that I can find. It will work as any other vintage manual focus lens with an adapter on Sony Alpha/NEX cameras (which is how I used this primarily) and m43. There is a single cluster of thin scratches on the front element, near the center. These should be visible in one of the photographs I've posted. These do not affect image quality. This lens comes with a generic plastic clip-on cap and rear cap. Asking $300 for the lens, shipped within CONUS. I can ship the lens anywhere, but buyer pays shipping outside CONUS.
