No it's not, an interesting flower I've never seen before.

Interesting. It reminded me of a flower I noticed in one of my wife's gardens, if one rotated the picture 90 degrees clockwise. i.e. gravity keeps them pointing in the same direction - downward. Hence my wrong assumption.

You have to love them to eat them at all. Separating the tiny amount of delicious flesh from the large seeds is hard work!
